Review: PepperJam Ads
Now that is a weird name but could this be hot enough for us webmasters.PepperJam Ads is the brain child of Kris Jones and was recently launched on 15th Jan this year.
(As I have just submitted my application for joining their so called private beta, I will add more details once I get approved and login to their publisher CP)

So how does it work?
These guys have a affiliate widget which you can customize to displays affiliate ads from Pepperjam Network advertisers.
As this is an affiliate network, you would only get paid only if a certain action is completed by the visitor from your site, these ads are also called CPA (Cost Per Action) ads. An action could be a sign up, a purchase and so on.
So you have to place a widget an every time a visitor clicks on the ads and performs an action you get paid.
The Widgets (everyone seems to love them)
Their widgets almost had be fooled, wherein, I thought that I was looking at a Google Ad unit.
So to get started, you have to build you ad widget as per your product preference and you are ready to go.
I will build one with “Make Money Online” kind of ads for this blog.
Remember that the more targeted (on the topic) ads you choose, there are more chances for it to convert.
This is of utmost importance as far as affiliate ads are concerned.
Also, you can mix and match and can have ads from more than one advertiser on the same widget.
You can check out the official video release to get in terms with using the widget.
Some pointers and observations:
This widget thing looks great but as you will be paid only for a performed action, you might not get your conversions right away. Also, these affiliates might not work for all niche as it depends on the kind of visitors you are getting and personally I see it going very well with entertainment niche sites.
Keep trying different product combination until you are not satisfied with the results. In affiliate marketing you have to be more active is determining the products that sell well with your site visitors.
As with every network, the tracking of leads could be a problem but with the specialization the network claims, that might just be a “What was that?” thing with them.
Not to discourage you all, but on the brighter side remember that if you can work well with affiliate products then you can earn MUCH MORE than any PPC program.
Candid confession; actually I did cross their site a few weeks back but I didn’t bother as I thought it was something to do with mommy bloggers.
I am new to affiliate marketing too, so I guess we all can grow from here and become supper affiliates sometime in the very near future.
