CPMStar Review

Finally I was approved. This was the third time in the last two years and I guess the third time was lucky for me.

It’s pretty amusing that one will not find many reviews for this particular Ad network, one that is definitely worth a mention. Possibly because until not it was exclusive for bigger publisher and very difficult to get approved or maybe because they don’t have a webmaster referral program. ;-)

CPM star caught my eye a few years back as many of the entertainment site that I visited at that time were publishing their ads. Also while looking for affiliate programs for gaming sites, I noticed many of the top gaming sites work exclusively with them for affiliate management.

If you have a site in the entertainment niche [Adsense won’t bring you much], games, music, movie, videos, humour, CPMStar is guaranteed to bring huge revenue in comparison to other ad networks.

CPMStar ReviewsCPMStar is a CPA ad network which pays publishers for generating sign-ups for the most popular FREE multiplayer games online. The free factor ensures high conversions and till now I am yet to meet a publisher who is not doing well in the network [ provided they have decent traffic ].

I am getting around 25% conversion on the clicks and around 65% conversion from my gaming site.

As a website publisher you will be paid for generating sign-ups for CPMStar advertisers.

Off lately CPMStar has become more proactive towards reviewing publisher applications [ I noticed a considerable number of new sites working with the network]  and this time around you can sure to get a response from the staff. Sign-up has been made more responsive, wherein, a publisher account is immediately created once you are done with the signup form[ Previously an account was created only once you site was approved for the network].

Once you have created your account, you would need to submit your website details for approval before the ad code is provided to you. Personally, I would recommend that you put your best site forward [in terms of traffic]  and a site in the entertainment niche would have more chances of approval.

As a publisher you will have various banner ad options; leader board, half banner, sky scrapper, 300*250 and a 125*125.

I did read that they have a pop-under option as well, but for the moment that has not been made available to all publishers.

On my account I am generating an average of 45-55 cents per sign-up

And the best news is that they pay via Paypal, subject to a $50.00 USD minimum balance.

I would like to conclude that this is by far the BEST thing to happen to web publisher in the Entertainment niche as personally Adsense and other networks were very depressing  in terms of payment rates offered.

I would definitely recommend this program to webmasters and I personally know a few that have completely abandoned other ad networks and made space for CPMStar.

  1. Good for you! I hope it brings you a lot ;-)

I’m still struggling with Adsense and Project Wonderful isn’t as wonderful as it used to be. If you have any good tips, feel free to share! ;-)

  2. I guess CPMStar might overtake my Adsense earnings and well I have had no success with Project Wonderful myself and have kind of abandoned it for the time being.

Zhu, on personal blog the only way thing that I see working is paid blogging. It might sound out of line, but as one has the power of choice, you can just blog about products that you can actually relate too.

If you do decide to give it a shot you can start with http://www.sponsoredreviews.com/

  6. Btw, I forgot to ask, approximately what should the traffic be if I want to get accepted into CPMStar?

Just a rough idea would be nice. Thanks.

  7. Sorry Fahad, I never got that mail.

As such they do not state a traffic requirement, but I would suggest that you keep a clean design and submit an entertainment niche site if you have one..[not mandatory]

Once you are approved, you can use the code on other sites too
